There was a photo I recently saw that made my eyes pop, and my mind ponder. 

The text said, "How much you learn."

There were three piles of books.

The first pile had two stacked books labeled "from theory."

The second pile has six stacked books labeled "from practice."

The third pile...

First consistency, second intensity.

Am I a mild, serious, or dedicated student?
Can I hold the practice long, with honor, respect, and give it importance?

Do I want the highest result?

These are questions I ask myself when obstacles come up.
